Packing trays are one of the common applications of High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS). HIPS is widely used in the production of packaging trays due to its favourable properties and cost-effectiveness.

Apart from this, Insulink also manufacture Anti-Static, ESD & Conductive Packing trays having surface resistivity lies between 102 – 1011  ohms. The main purpose of ESD packing trays is to provide a protective environment for electronic components during handling, storage, and transportation. Packing trays that are biodegradable, oxy-biodegradable and compostable are often produced from renewable and plant-based materials such as bagasse (sugarcane pulp), bamboo fiber, wheat straw, or other agricultural waste. Having an option for food grade trays are also available and are typically made from materials that are approved for food contact, such as high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polypropylene (PP), or polycarbonate (PC).
